KIBS Headed by Dr. Ilchi Lee has been given with Consultative Status by United Nations

As the president so as the founder of KIBS or the Korea Institute of Brain Science, which is based in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Ilchi Lee was so pleased to announce that the Economic and Social Council of United Nations voted this institution as an NGO or Non-governmental Organization in Roster Consultative Status. The said designation happened in 20th of July, 2007, specifically at the Annual Ministerial Review meeting of UN, which took place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

So what does this status mean to the Korean Institute of Brain Science? This prestigious status simply means that the UN recognizes the KIBS as a relevant institution with regards to scientific research, especially on Brain Education. The United Nations believes that KIBS can truly contribute to their Millennium Development Goals, which includes empowerment, education, health, economics, most especially, peace for this world. These goals are expected to be attained by the year 2015.

As a simple overview of KIBS, it is a nonprofit organization that aims to facilitate the enhancement of education, medical science, and science. It aims to enhance the world’s health and it also wants to contribute to the attainment of peace. Now that it has the roster Consultative Status, this Ilchi Lee institution is already legible to go to the meetings hosted by the ECOSOC, as well as its different agencies.

It is also legible to be in partners with other non-government organizations when it comes to events and projects that are sponsored by the United Nations. Also, KIBS is very much welcome to utilize the name of United Nations for events that they sponsor, especially those that showcase the Brain Education.

On the 28th of August year 2007, Dr. Ilchi Lee hosted a workshop for 17 doctors, of which majority are clinical psychologists. This workshop tackled the Brain Best Practices for Better Health, which occurred in Tarantino’s Properties Building Conference Room in Houston, Texas. It is good to know that the lecture of Dr. Ilchi Lee was well-accepted by the experts, as shown through their enthusiastic questions regarding the physical and mental health, so as the interplay between these aspects.

Ilchi Lee Education was given at Washington, DC regarding Innovations in Education

On the 20th of August, 2007, Dr. Ilchi Lee gave a talk about the Innovations in Education in front of 400 people. This talk happened at the George Washington University Cafritz Conference Center Grand Ballroom. In this event, Dr. Ilchi Lee emphasized his conclusions after spending 3 decades in investigating methods to enhance the potential of the brain, for the welfare of the humanity.
